5, 1985, and owes its designation to the several
hills scattered on its territory. Conveniently located at the south of Montréal’s island, midway between the towns of Québec and Ottawa, Montérégie’s touristy diversity with its blend of culture, agriculture and heritage makes it particularly noticeable.
